Marc Jacobs has launched Let It Joy, its Winter 2026 holiday campaign, in which Emmy-nominated actor and comedian Megan Stalter spends a snowbound night in a downtown New York hotel looking for a party, because the invitation she has been sent leaves out the room number. The film is set during a record-breaking New York snowstorm just days before the holidays, and it unfolds as a series of comedic vignettes in which an evening of festive glamour gradually turns into an extended and increasingly chaotic search of the building.

The story moves along as Stalter cold-calls the hotel's rooms and enlists the help of a bellhop, and the people she meets along the way are drawn from what the brand calls "a cast of New York personalities and cultural figures". New York Knicks centre Andre Drummond appears alongside social media personality Ashtin Earle, model and actress Kai Schreiber and designer and stylist Miyako Bellizzi, while models Mathilda Gvarliani and Amina Ahmed also feature. Interview magazine editor-in-chief Mel Ottenberg has a particularly useful place in the plot, since the group make plans to hit his snowed-in party, which casts a working magazine editor as the host of the evening that everybody is trying to reach. When the location of the party remains a mystery, Stalter decides to make her own fun, so the film is as much about the night she has along the way as it is about reaching the room.

The products are woven through those vignettes with the same lightness, starting with The Scene Bag in new sizes and The Tote Bag in fresh seasonal colourways, including a deep burgundy. The 72 Spring Street Sneaker leads the season's footwear alongside The Aspen Winter Boots, and the wider edit takes in The Puffer, The Scene Wallet, small leather goods, accessories and Marc Jacobs beauty, which gives the campaign a broad spread of giftable pieces at different prices. The Aspen Winter Boot is listed at $198, with a leopard leather passport case at $98 and The Daisy Earrings at $55, so the film can sell a fantasy of a chaotic New York party while still offering something for a modest gift budget. The collection went on sale on 2 November at Marc Jacobs boutiques globally, on marcjacobs.com and through select luxury retailers, and the full film can be watched on the Marc Jacobs website.

Let It Joy follows Marc Jacobs' 2026 Question Marc series with Rachel Sennott's The Scene and The Swap

The groundwork for Let It Joy was laid in April, when Marc Jacobs released The Scene, a social-first microdrama written by and starring Rachel Sennott, in which she races around New York trying to get an invitation to the Met Gala with the Scene Bag from the pre-fall 2026 collection. Francesca Scorsese, Morgan Maher, True Whitaker and Sandra Bernhard all made cameos, and the brand said that future episodes would explore the theme of "everyone seeking to be seen and visibility is power".

The Swap followed in August under the same Question Marc banner, as Rowan Blanchard and Jemima Kirke accidentally exchanged Scene Bags after a New York runway show, which set off a two-day chase across New York City. Further episodes were promised across social platforms throughout the autumn, which reflects a wider shift towards ultra-short, mobile-first series.
